Well, this is pretty cool. I just got word that our blog made it to #2 on Feedspot’s list of the 35 Best San Antonio Real Estate Blogs and Websites in 2025. Out of hundreds of real estate blogs in San Antonio, we’re sitting at number two.
For those who don’t know Feedspot, they’re basically the authority on ranking blogs and websites across every industry you can think of. They don’t just throw names in a hat – they analyze everything from social media engagement and domain authority to content quality and reader feedback. So this isn’t just some participation trophy situation.
What This Really Means
Here’s the thing that gets me excited about this ranking – it’s not about us patting ourselves on the back. It’s validation that what we’re putting out there is actually helping people. Every time I sit down to write about contract amendments, marketing strategies, or transaction coordination details, I’m thinking about new agents, and the buyers and sellers who are trying to figure it all out. The fact that Feedspot recognized our content means we’re connecting with the right people in the right way.
The description they gave us was spot on: “Kimberly Howell Properties is here to serve the community around us with top-of-the-line customer service, attention to detail, and follow-through. Through every step of the home buying and selling process, we make it a point to utilize the most effective marketing strategies and build long-lasting relationships with clients, competitors, friends, and neighbors.
That’s exactly what we’re about. No fluff, no sales pitches – just real information that makes your job easier.

The Numbers Behind the Recognition
Looking at the data breakdown, we’re competing against some serious players. The blog that beat us to #1 has massive national backing, and below us are established firms with decades of market presence. But here we are at #2, and honestly, that feels pretty good considering we’ve always focused on quality over quantity.
Our domain authority of 28 might not seem like much compared to the news sites on the list, but for a local real estate team blog, it shows we’re building something solid. More importantly, we’ve got 1.5K Facebook followers who actually engage with our content, not just lurkers.
What’s Been Working
The content that’s resonating most with readers? The technical stuff that other people don’t want to tackle. Those deep dives into contract processes, the marketing technology breakdowns, the behind-the-scenes transaction coordination posts – that’s what people are sharing and coming back for.
I think it’s because there’s so much surface-level content out there. “8 Tips for First Time Homebuyers” has been written a million times. But explaining why a specific contract amendment matters for a particular situation? Walking through the actual systems that make transactions flow smoothly? That’s where we can add real value.
Looking Ahead
This ranking is great motivation to keep pushing forward. I’ve got a whole list of topics everyone has been asking about – more on AI tools for real estate marketing, deeper contract education content, and some deep dives into our market and what it all means.
The travel stories seem to hit well too when they tie back to business lessons. Who knew that dealing with customs agents in 47 countries would teach you so much about client communication? Maybe I’ll dig into more of those connections.
Thanks (Really)
Here’s what I appreciate most about this recognition – it means the content is actually helping people do their jobs better. Every time a client tells me they understood a process better after reading one of our posts, or they implemented a marketing strategy we shared, that’s the real win.
The blog ranking is nice, but the feedback from everyone who say we’ve made their home buying or selling process less stressful? That’s what keeps me writing.
Thanks to everyone who reads, shares, and engages with our content. This #2 ranking belongs to all of us – we’re just the ones typing it up.
Let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like us to cover in upcoming posts. Always happy to dive into the technical details that make this business work.
