I am classified as a “buyer/seller of things.” My business has always been to sell used, desirable furniture and art. I’ve done this my whole life and it began when I was 5 years old at a garage sale with my grandmother. I am 70 years old and thrill of the hunt has grown from used decorative items into beautiful homes! After closing my shop, Off My Rocker in November 2019 after 18 years, I was struggling to stay physically and mentally active during the shutdown caused by the cornona virus. I woke up one day and decided to study for my real estate license and I passed! I am an agent with Kimberly Howell Properties and I could not be happier!
I have two sons, Mitch is the oldest at 51 and he is a baseball and football coach and a special education teacher for the Smithson Valley School District. His wife, Tish, just retired as a special education teacher after 35 years. My youngest son being 49, Mark Odom, is the lead singer and guitarist for his band, The Mark Odom Band. These two sons have blessed me with 4 grandchildren, one girl and three boys. They are all the best thing I’ve accomplished in my life.
One thing you should know about me is that I love Las Vegas! I can sit at a slot machine for several days and then move to another machine for another several days. To me it is the best downtime! I’m to win at this real estate machine and I’ll be a Diamond someday!
